Receive an early-morning pickup from your Bali hotel, continuing on a 3-hour drive through Bali to Lovina on the island’s northern coast. When you arrive, you’ll climb aboard a traditional outrigger-style boat for a sunrise trip amidst the local population of wild dolphins. Watch as the first rays of the day burst into view, marveling as these athletic animals jump and dive out of the ocean. Around 7am you’ll head back to shore, stopping along the way for you to take a snorkeling break. When you return to share at approximately 9am, you’ll enjoy a light breakfast before heading to Sambangan Waterfall. Drive around 20 minutes from your breakfast spot to the hike starting point, trekking for approximately 1.5 hours to reach this flowing cascade. Along the way you’ll soak up the scenery of local rice paddies and plantation fields filled with crops like snake fruit, palm sugar trees, bananas, cacao and coffee. After reaching the waterfall, you’ll also get to cool off with a swim in Tibuan Puncak Sari, a natural swimming spot. Not far away are other waterfalls, including Aling-Aling, Kroya Kembar, and Pucuk. Finish by stopping for lunch around 1:30pm during the trip back to your hotel.
